The Specialized Center for Intellectual Property – UNAPI (National University of Intellectual Property), founded on October 21, 2013, is the first higher education institution specializing in intellectual property in Latin America. Recognized by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), it was created in response to an urgent need identified by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to train highly qualified professionals in this strategic field.

Created by specialists trained at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), it stands out for its innovative approach, academic rigor, and representative focus on the field of intellectual property. Our institution not only provides specialized higher education, but also acts as a benchmark for training, research, and leadership in the field of intellectual property in the region.
